Fishy Poem!

This poem was written by a good friend of mine and it touched me,

I was just sitting here feeding my fish...

When I noticed a funny glitch.

Whilst the others were going after their lunch,

One just sat there and it gave me a hunch,

That this fishy was bored of swimming,

And to make things simple, he gave up living!

For as I moved my mouse around,

Little fishy made no sound.

I waited and watched as the other fish cried,

as poor little fishling sat and died.

Drumming

well, this is me drumming at the previous rock school gig, having a load of fun playing one of our four songs, but now, three weeks into the next one, I am DEEPLY CONFUSED! let me explain, theses are the songs we am doing:

• Rolling in the deep-adele
• tide is high-Blondie
• mexicola-queens of the stone age
• take off your coulors-you me at six

I'm mainly confused about take off your colors and have been listening it all morning trying to figure out what happens(Craig, the guy who does rock school, didn't give any notes for this one). Also, I'm marginally confused about what happens in mexicola because because it is allot easier but I wasn't given notes for that either so I'm rather afraid of what will happen at rock school today...

anyway, while I worry, you can look at some pictures of my beautiful face (attached to a body playing the drums/ posing with the drums)

About seven weeks ago I went to a gig to see my friend Goldie perform as part of one of the many bands playing that evening. So, I decided to sign up, I got put in a band with Tori and Finn, old hands at rock school who had both gone a million times and Calieb, who like me was also new to rock school. We had six weeks to learn four songs (we all chose one each) and rehearsed at monster studios then after six weeks we performed at the Brunswick pub

This is my version of us. Much better!

I chose making plans for Nigel, by XTC. I found it easy to play but I apolagise to the rest of the band as I know that it was very hard to play and sing 

Tori chose seven nation army, originally by the white stripes but we did the Marcus Collins version with a hint of the stripes version, a very good choice!

Finn chose XO by fall out boy, a song I deeply hated to play and to hear, eventually though I began to love the song. 

Calieb chose Disco 2000 , by pulp I fell in love with this song strait away and loved playing it as well! great choice Calieb!

So these are the songs in order of how I told you them. depending on your age, and your pearents ages you may know a few of these songs. Enjoy!

‘Oh yeah?’ she said pointing at her face, no glasses in sight,

‘Well that’s different, nobody cares what you look like,’ I replied sounding slightly meaner than it was meant.

That’s how it happened, I was in town for one reason or another and I passed a stall that normally sold sunglasses and saw they had a few pairs with clear lenses, I bought some tort shell ones and went home. Later that day I went to Ellis’ house with Ali to show them my new look, having not tried them yet myself.

‘YUK! They’re hideous’ cried Ellis as if ashamed to be my friend,

‘Why?’ said Ali so confused by it all.

‘Everyone else has glasses,’ I said, casually ‘why can’t I?’

‘Because everyone else needs them to see?’ suggested Ali.

‘Do you think they’ll suit me? I changed the subject,

‘why don’t you just try them on?’ Ellis said, calmer now.

‘good point!’ I said, as if it was the most amazing suggestion in the world.

This was it, the moment of truth, I put them on...

‘Are you all right?’ My mum asked me,

‘Whhaa? Whaatss happening..?’ I slurred.

‘You passed out?’ suggested Ali.

so, this is me:

I'm an odd charicter, I'll grant you that. But! what am I to do in the future?
My dream job would be to a comic (stand up) well, at first i want to do stand up, then i want more!
this is how i want to do it:

• i want to do stand up like Sarah Millican ,
• but jump around the stage like Micheal McIntyre.
• I then want to go on to do stuff like Ricky Gervais,(he does TV and films) 
• but in the style of Miranda Hart.
• i also want to do something a bit like Flanimals but actually draw them myself!(this was a book by Ricky Gervais)
