Drumming
well, this is me drumming at the previous rock school gig, having a load of fun playing one of our four songs, but now, three weeks into the next one, I am DEEPLY CONFUSED! let me explain, theses are the songs we am doing:
- Rolling in the deep-adele
- tide is high-Blondie
- mexicola-queens of the stone age
- take off your coulors-you me at six
I'm mainly confused about take off your colors and have been listening it all morning trying to figure out what happens(Craig, the guy who does rock school, didn't give any notes for this one). Also, I'm marginally confused about what happens in mexicola because because it is allot easier but I wasn't given notes for that either so I'm rather afraid of what will happen at rock school today...
Me and Finn (he said he didn't like this one because of his face, I prefer this one to the other one)
this one is okay, I don't like it as much as the one above.
posing for the camera, Tori and Calieb turned up late that day so me and finn were rocking for the camera!
an example of Finn rocking the camera!

RockSchoolsUK!
Tori singing, Me drums, Finn Bass, Calieb guitar
About seven weeks ago I went to a gig to see my friend Goldie perform as part of one of the many bands playing that evening. So, I decided to sign up, I got put in a band with Tori and Finn, old hands at rock school who had both gone a million times and Calieb, who like me was also new to rock school. We had six weeks to learn four songs (we all chose one each) and rehearsed at monster studios then after six weeks we performed at the Brunswick pub
The gig! Calieb, Me(on the drums), Tori, Finn (couldn't fit him in the pic)

This is my version of us. Much better!
I chose making plans for Nigel, by XTC. I found it easy to play but I apolagise to the rest of the band as I know that it was very hard to play and sing
Tori chose seven nation army, originally by the white stripes but we did the Marcus Collins version with a hint of the stripes version, a very good choice!
Finn chose XO by fall out boy, a song I deeply hated to play and to hear, eventually though I began to love the song.
Calieb chose Disco 2000 , by pulp I fell in love with this song strait away and loved playing it as well! great choice Calieb!

michael nesmith is too great!
You get the moon
I'll get the stars
You get the wind
I'll get the cars
You make the stops
And I'll make the starts
Tonight
You get the moon
I'll get the stars
You get the wind
I'll get the cars
You make the stops
And I'll make the starts
Tonight
Living inside of a little glass room
Living inside of the tube
Everyone's made out of little thin lines
Sometimes their fingers are blue
Mine too
You get the cops
I'll get the phone
I'll get the nurse
And you go on home
Sally loves Bob
Jim needs a shave
The inside's a knot
What a way to behave
Tonight
You get the tape
I'll get the rule
You bring the steaks
I'll fill the pool
You watch the lawn
I'll watch the door
You watch a little
I'll watch some more
Tonight
Living inside of a little glass room
Living inside of the tube
Everyone's made out of little thin lines
Sometimes their fingers are blue
Their minds are too
Living inside of a little glass room
Living inside of the tube
Everyone's made out of little thin lines
And sometimes their fingers are blue
Me too
And living inside of a little glass room
Living inside of the tube
Oh, everybody's made out of these little, tiny, thin lines
And sometimes their fingers are blue
Their minds are too
I'm still inside of a little glass room
Oh, I'm still inside of this tube
I'll get the stars
You get the wind
I'll get the cars
You make the stops
And I'll make the starts
Tonight

News for the monkees
omg three quarters of the monkees are coming back together:Peter Tork,69,Davy Jones,65 and Micky Dolenz,65 are joining together once more to again become the 60's hit band and television show the monkees. Here's what the independent said:
Here they come, walking down the street... for another lucrative reunion tour. The Monkees, the first pop stars entirely manufactured for television, are re-forming – again – 45 years after they first assaulted the charts.
Simon Cowell has acknowledged the debt that he owes to Davy Jones, Mickey Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith, the quartet put together for a 1966 US television series that became a global phenomenon.
Devised to cash in on the Beatles' success, the Monkees' wholesome good looks, zany antics and catchy songs, written and often played by backroom musicians, produced record sales in 1967 that exceeded the Fab Four.
